Left Bar Structure Question

So, first off, I'm a huge fan of the MusicCabinet mod, so thanks for putting it all together! One question though: while I can see the merit in the alphabetical listing of artists, I kind of preferred the old system where the left bar was a listing of my folders and then the user could drill down into the folder to my subfolders and whatnot. Is there any way to make my left bar like that again, or am I out of luck? And if there is, how would I do it?

You can access the folder structure two ways but only the second changes the left frame, and its a bit different than the behavior without the mod:

1. The file tree option from the top menu bar, which loads the folder structure in the main pane. This option also lets you view newly added files on your sever by hitting the plus button to the left of a folder, but it doesn't appear to load videos.

2. There is an option to switch the left frame to file based browsing at the bottom of the left pane if you scroll past the alphabet accordion, but it is not persistent, so you need to switch each time you use subsonic. The behavior is slightly different from vanilla subsonic in that only the top level folders will be in the left frame (the media folders you picked in settings), and once you click a folder its structure will open in the main frame.

Personally I love the new design and would rather use option 1 for folders when I need to, but the only reason I need to is to view videos, and it doesn't appear to load them. i'll probably just add a button to the top bar to open my video folder in file view because I don't know how to make a persistent toggle between file view and artist accordion view.

I do see the benefits of showing all files (including videos) in the file tree view though, to support option 1. I'll consider changing the scanner to keep track of everything and list folder content.
