Empty entries on Recently/most played, rating, etc.

Hi hakko, after testing this mod out I noticed that tabs such as Recently Played, Most played, rating are all missing entires, even though I had rated the song/album. I suspect that it was database error at first but upon checking I didn't notice anything suspicious.

MusicCabinet relies heavy on data fetched from last.fm. To get full functionality, you have to sign up for a last.fm account (it's free and anonymous) and configure MusicCabinet to use it from Personal Settings. This will give you most played, ratings etc. It will then also automatically import stats from last.fm, from music you're scrobbling from other media players, to keep a full history of what you like. When you've scrobbled tracks to last.fm for a while, it'll also start giving you personal recommendations on other music you might like in the Home -> Recommended screen.

I see. It seemed to be working now. I always thought that those info are stored locally in db.

Yes, stats and ratings are stored locally in your Postgres database, so technically some of that info could be gathered without a last.fm account. It's just for my convenience, my life gets easier when I'm only handling last.fm accounts, not a mix of last.fm accounts and subsonic accounts (that could in turn change last.fm accounts). Since this project revolves so much around the last.fm integration, I thought it made sense to "force" users of it to have an account.
