Question about Android Apps (Official and DSub)

First off hakko,

Thank you so much for this mod... its truly incredible... it has brought new life to my subsonic server... the artist radio feature is the greatest thing ever!

My only question is with the android apps. I know they are made to support 4.7 and im guessing this is why this has happened.. but on the album list under the artist there is no Year that is displayed for each album...

It's not a huge deal, but i thought i would ask if there is a way to tweak my MC install to allow the apps to pickup the album years and show them on the album list.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could it be that you put years into your folder names?

As you can see, year is only added to single files, not to a directory.

MusicCabinet works the same way and only adds years to single files, not to albums. So unless you name your album for example "Yellow Submarine (1969)", it'll just be displayed as "Yellow Submarine". And adding album year to album names would be a really bad idea.

Anyway, that's the only way I can think of to tweak it without altering code (which would be the best approach to change behavior for this).
