If it doesn't work, can you check the HTML source of the page where the shared tracks should be playing?

Make sure it says:

list[0] = {
file: "/stream?mfId=XXXXXX&player=YY",

and not

Code: Select all

list[0] = {
file: "/stream?mfId=XXXXXX&player=YY",

notice the & substitution, that was the error stopping it from working. (sorry about that, btw)

Thanks hakko, but it seems to be working now - I sent the share I created most recently (after deleting the pre-existing "guest" account) to a couple of friends, and they were both able to play it.

Yeah the album art doesn't work because it's referencing embedded album art from the .mp3s. But that's an issue for another day.

Just out of curiosity, does SS/MC not pick up folder.jpg files that Windows (in its infinite wisdom) has turned into hidden/system files? I meticulously place a folder.jpg file in every album folder I have, and also embed it in the .mp3s, but I'm finding that when I navigate to the folders the folder.jpg files have disappeared.

If so, do you recommend replacing the folder.jpg files with cover.jpg or something?

I have no problem with album art showing up in MC, but would love it if it could be displayed in the share links as well (specifically, I liked the thumbnail that used to be generated on Facebook when I'd share a link).

I just got the same error #2032 today. I tried recreating the share to no solution, but I found there was an extra hyphen next to the song name in the file and the meta info (-Mesh...). I renamed the song and fixed the tag. Refreshed the directory and re did the share and it works now.
