After installing Subsonic 4.6, exchange your subsonic.war with http://dilerium.se/musiccabinet/subsonic-0.5.50b.war (download and rename to subsonic.war).
This will only work well if your music is organized as Artist/Album/Song. Some Linux users have reported class loading problems from the mix of Spring 2.5.6 and 3.1. These issues have been addressed in later releases.
The 4.6 release is provided "as-is". No new features will be added to it.
