MusicCabinet Plugin for XBMC Frodo

Hello,
Not sure if there are any XBMC users or python junkies around :-) However I've been using this subsonic plugin http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=99513 for my XBMC setup, but sadly nobody is updating the plugin anymore, and with MusicCabinet running now there is no way to get an album view :/ I first have to select a genre, and then I can get to an artist list, but only for that genre.

Just thought i'd put it out there, i'm available for any graphics help if anyone is interested in taking it on.

I can now access the artist list with the new release of MC, thank you!

Just one question, it says "All Genres" instead of something like "All Artists" or "All Folders" which makes it confusing, since its already listing all genres below it.

I wasn't aware the XBMC plugin forced you to make a choice from that list before choosing an artist (that's not how iSub/dSub works). This whole setup is a bit of a hack to allow browsing by genre as it isn't supported by default. Maybe "All Artists" would be a better name.. I thought "All genres" would make sense as it is an alternative to choosing a single genre (those listed below). dSub sorts the list too so maybe I'll need to label it [All genres] or something to have it placed on top. Can't make everyone happy.

Not sure I get it... when I click All Genres it lists artists, not genres.. but doesn't matter, it works :-) that's what counts to me.

Agreed. It does work...and I love it running on XBMC. It is a bit annoying to have to start in genre, then find the artist...then to "artist radio."

But, not annoying enough to remove MusicCabinet. Perhaps something could be done to the plug-in.
