The beta of 0.7.18 seems to work fine, so it's now up as an official version with some small additions. Thanks for testing! viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9777&p=50977#p50977

This thread is for feedback/discussion.

Looks like the standalone zip for "non-windows" is broken.

Hmm, it's seems to have been interrupted while uploading to the host, only half of it was transmitted. I've put it back up, thanks.

Something I noticed:

In the tag editor I love the fact you added the extra fields :) I'll be submitting a better layout that makes it a little easier to read.. However, after updating even though it gives me the Updated status (no error, or skipped) once I go back to it, the Album Artist/Composer fields are set back to what they were originally.

Lawman: I don't know what went wrong (my FTP skills are getting old, shaky network or something) but for some reason, the zip and exe installers were only uploaded partly. New versions up now.

sigel: Yeah, I was a bit lazy and turned off automatic scanning after updating the tags. Having it automatic is efficient if you only edit one album (because only those folders need to be scanned) but if you edit a lot of albums, it's better the other way around. So now you have to invoke an "offline scan" from the Settings page to have the tag changes registered.

I was wondering how Art/Covers are handled...If an MP3 has an image attached in the actual file, will that always take priority? Cause some music I have is tagged with website/spam covers and it won't let me overwrite that, unless I was to download the mp3, change art in file, re-upload.

To save myself from typing the same thing over and over, I made a FAQ thread for that: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11143

The two new themes only alter the log in screen. Multiple browsers/clearing cache/starting restarting subsonic didn't have any effect. Is it just me?

They don't even switch the upper left logo (that's the most obvious change)? You could go to (host:port)/style and click the .css files, in case they are cached by your browser to force read them.

Still only the log in screen is changed. I tried dropping the war in two different times and also did an install with the .exe as well. The log in page says MusicCabinet, everything else says Subsonic. It's definitely something going on server side. I just had to build a new machine at the office and it's showing the same thing. If I get a chance this afternoon I'll dig into the css and see what's happening. I can't figure out what would be unique with my install though--kind of odd.
