Remove tag-based browsing/set file-based as in standard sub

I just installed MusicCabinet, after using the standard subsonic for years, and most of the functions it added are indeed quite great, and all the added infos do really look great.

However a total deal breaker for me, is the tag-based browsing. While I can see that the developer meant well with it, and that many people may indeed find it useful, I simply can't stand using it over the traditional way, and the "file-based" browsing that is available from clicking at the bottom of the left browsing column , while functional, is totally annoying as it appears into the "main space" of subsonic, rather than into the left column itself.

So to the point, how can I permanently turn off the tag-based browsing? Or at least have the file-based one appear into the left column, (i.e. http://droplr.com/jfk6, right under "Music", rather than in the "main" subsonic space)?

I really hope what I described is possible, as otherwise, I'm going to have to revert back to the standard subsonic, to my great regret, as while all the other functions are simply brilliant, and really add to the subsonic experience, the tag based browsing makes it really annoying and quite hard for me to access my content.

Thanks in advance to everyone who has read so far and will take time to answer.
And thumbs up to the developer , as besides this browsing thing, MusicCabinet is definitely something quite brilliant!

Thanks for all the positive feedback! I'm sorry to say, but everything you're asking for would require some code to be written, there's no option to switch off the tag-based browsing. (To me, tag based browsing is a selling point but I understand that everyone doesn't want it.)

It might be possible to work with the left.jsp file and edit it to fit your needs (changing target of the links, to make clicked folders appear in the left column instead of in the main one), but I can't really tell as I've never tried it myself. It definitely requires some work and hacking on your part.

MusicCabinet is built a lot around "artists" as a key concept and I don't think that maps well to folder based browsing. I tried back in MusicCabinet version 0.5 but it always came out a bit messy and non-intuitive so that branch is long dead and I don't plan to work on it again.
