Another failed last.fm sync

I have never been able to get the sync of loved tracks to work perfectly, and the few threads I saw that reference similar issues seemed to die out. Please point me in the right direction if I missed a thread that provides a resolution.
To test, I verified on last.fm that there were no loved tracks from Broken Social Scene's album, You Forgot It in People. I then used a foobar script to star them all, and verified that the tracks appeared in my loved tracks list on last.fm. I logged in to subsonic with my admin account and performed a full scan. Upon completion, I navigated to the Broken Social Scene album, and all of the tracks still do not show the loved/starred status.
Is it possible to completely clear the database of all loved tracks status, so I can run another full scan and check the results?
