MusicCabinet Tag Settings/Configuration

Hi, I'm fairly new to Subsonic/MusicCabinet and absolutely love it so far. One area I'm having trouble with relates to genres and tag settings. If I go to Settings / MusicCabinet / Tag Setttings, I get the following message: Sorry, but you don't have enough music for this to be meaningful. Please add some more artists.

Subsonic recognizes roughly 8600 artists in my library so wondering what's up. Hard to believe that many artists is still not enough to make use of genres.

On the other hand, if I go to an advanced search, I can use genre by track and see a whole list of them. But when I try using Artist Genre, it comes up empty.

I couldn't find anything directly related to this issue on the forum so hope someone can steer me in the right direction.

Have you synced Last.FM to MusicCab? I feel like I had a similar issue of no genres appearing, but it's been years and I'm now, and sadly, using the not genre-focused, Madsonic. Anything in the logs?

Think I solved my problem...once I changed the setting for "Calculate artist genres from file tags" from it's default of 'no' to 'yes', I was able to select genres and now they show up in the genres and radio tabs. Also, from my Android, I now get results from the 'similar artists' option.
