I really would recommend a feature like "save config to ini file" or something different to restore all settings for clean reinstall and scan.

Hi,
if you mean basic Subsonic settings, search for the subsonic.properties file in your subsonic folder. Backup and restore this file on clean install.

So I am trying B3020 tonight, and a few things to note:
First off, my OS for my SubSonic device is Windows Server 2012 Release Candidate Datacenter x64.
So I uninstalled Java 1.6, and uninstalled B3016, and installed B3020...to let it install Java. B3020 installed Java v1.6u32. SubSonic didn't work, since it was compiled with 1.7...so I uninstalled the 1.6.
Downloaded the offline installer for the latest 1.7, both the x64 and x86...and installed both. With that being said, I can say that SubSonic still didn't work with on the 1.7 x64 install, as I got a popup saying it couldn't find the x32 install of JDK, but resolved itself after I installed it. All seemed to work after that, and working good so far.

thanks tycoonbob for the troubleshooting. In the new Build i resolved this in the windows installer package. Build 3022 is now bundled right with Java 1.7 Installer.
I test this with a fresh Windows Server 2012 Release Candidate Datacenter x64 installation and works well now. On this way i found many other bugs with Internet Explorer 10 and Adobe Flash Crashes, but with Google Chrome it works well on Server 2012.

Thanks for the continued updates! Glad you bundled the correct java build, and I can also say that I have had issues with ie10 beta. I don't use it though, so not a concern of mine. New version of FFMPEG might hopefully fix some of my transcoding issues, but will be a bit before I can test.

Uninstalled SubSonic, and all existing Java versions. Rebooted. Installed B3026, and now get this error when trying to load SubSonic.

My assumption is something to do with Java? I notice two versions installed in appwiz:
-Java 7 Update 5
-JavaFX 2.1.1

I have uninstalled both, and rebooted. I reinstalled the latest JRE (1.7u5) and getting the same results ,and same logs. Ideas?

it looks like, you dont cleanup your Subsonic after uninstall. (The Uninstaller dont clean all stuff) To do so, delete also the C:\Subsonic folder to delete Database and subsonic.properties file.
Your Install use http://localhost:453 and this is not default from the installer.

If you install a "REAL" fesh install you have as default Subsonic on port 4040, so I suspect a mixed installation.

Hey MadEvil,

With the latest builds, I've been getting "Video not found or access denied" when trying to use the minute drop down box to skip ahead. Any ideas on how to fix this?

On a side note, I've manually updated ffmpeg and nothing abnormal shows up in the subsonic log..not sure whats up.

Not 100% sure what up , but Im having serious issues with no coverart displaying. Everything else seems good , it adds music , displays correctly and all. but I cant click on any albums from the 'home' page without that cover art being displayed. If I float the mouse over top of where the image should be , I get the 'mouse over' displayed artist - album name pop up though.

Is there something I might have missed? or does that feature not currently work?.. otherwise , its looking fantastic! I love how the mashup has release years displayed too . anyways , im running the latest java and installed the sdk as well just incase... so Im at a loss here.

I tried chrome and everything was workin great on that , ... I dont mind keeping chrome going , but a working IE would be kinda nice. (Sorry on adding this later , but realized chrome was working after)

Which version of IE are you using?
There is a problem with 4.7 not displaying cover art on IE8 which Sindre is aware of.

I am deleting the C:\Subsonic folder, just like always. I scan through the registry, %ProgramFiles%, and %ProgramFiles(x86)% as well...to delete anything that would happen to be there. Once installed, before ever opening a browser, I stop the service, set my RAM usage to 512, and change my port to 453...start the service, and load it up in a browser. I will give it another try, and make sure I didn't leave any files...and not change the default port.
