Hello

I wonder if it is possible to update jw player to 6.0 (for example, if I were to buy a premium account on jw player, which supports the HLS Live Streaming on iOS and Flash / html5)

But how do I install it in madsonic?

jw player version 6 free edtion doesn't support HLS and
there is no HLS Support on android

hi

Thanks for the reply.
crap, is there any other player I can install to get rid of flash?

Do you know how to change the settings for different hardware that connects to madsonic? (thinking of different types of media players)

Have you by chance tried the mini player that is included with subsonic/madsonic 4.7 and 4.8? This is an HTML5 only player and may do what you are looking for.

Once logged in, go to More > Minisub.

Check this out (if you haven't already) and see if it does what you are looking for, or at least works for you for the time being.
