Increase memory OSX 10.7.3

I have searched high and low, I found a nice tutorial covering every install except Stand Alone for OSX. I can not figure out where (and what to type) to increase the memory in the subsonic.sh file. Do I just enter 512 or do I need to enter 512mb or just 512m?
Do you change it here -
SUBSONIC_HOME=/Applications/Subsonic
SUBSONIC_HOST=0.0.0.0
SUBSONIC_PORT=4040
SUBSONIC_HTTPS_PORT=0
SUBSONIC_CONTEXT_PATH=/
SUBSONIC_MAX_MEMORY=512m
SUBSONIC_PIDFILE=
SUBSONIC_DEFAULT_MUSIC_FOLDER=/var/music
SUBSONIC_DEFAULT_PODCAST_FOLDER=/var/music/Podcast
SUBSONIC_DEFAULT_PLAYLIST_FOLDER=/var/playlists
Thanks in advance!
I would like to change to 512 MB. I know syntax matters.....Any OSX users out there?????
Edit - I stopped Subsonic, changed the .sh files as shown above and restarted Madsonic. Activity monitor showed Java using 300 MB, so I guess it worked.
