I downloaded it, installed it on my windows computer, then uploaded the jetty directory and both war files to my linux machine and started it (using my old 4.6 database / settings / config)

I am aware that my setup is much different from yours, so please don't see my post as "flaming, uh, it's not working" but as a little bug report :)

some issues:

- the upload mod has a path hardcoded with "\", on linux "/" would be right
- (other issues resolved by turning on the cache in my firefox...)

Questions:
- Where can I find the logfile (on the website)
- Where is the extended DB Viewer?

suggestion:
- I would love the "new albums" view as default view (i patch it myself since several subsonic versions)
Edit: Found it in the personal settings, but I would like to define the global default

Feel free to contact me via PM if you need more information or want to have a look at my installation,
Gonzo

*) i will fix this in the next build

Gonzo

*) The About and the Log-View can be found when you click on the logo in the left corner
*) also the DB-Viewer can be found on this Page (visible only if your user is admin) or with http://localhost/db.view

Gonzo

*) yes the default view is random. I'll try to fix it.

I am loving this alot!! Great work!!. I have been having an issue with the cover art staying put on the screen. I see them for a second, then they dissappear? I am using IE9 and I know it works when you switch to compatabiltiy mode but in compatability mode, the more link shows the playlist stretched across the screen. This issue (cover art dissappearing) was also in 4.6 and I have not found a sound solution to it. Compatablity mode does not seem to be an option as it is creating other issues with the more link. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

i'll fix this in the next build. then you don't need the IE9 compatability mode.

Question: according to your screenshots, the player itself should look different, more buttons. I still have the "plain old player" I used to have from stock-subsonic.
The Player loaded is 5.9: swfobject.embedSWF("/subsonic/flash/jw-player-5.9.swf", "placeholder", "340", "24", "9.0.0", false, flashvars, params, attributes);

Does this depend on the used theme? Or anything else I could look into?

Greetings,
Gonzo
