No, I just need to make the arrow bigger so you can still click it. The delay can't easily be removed because it is stock behavior, and even if I could I wouldn't because otherwise there would be no way to click and drag using it.

Roland Stone wrote:No its not really a DSub problem, I have the same issue with the official Subsonic app. I was just hoping someone might have an idea what to do or how else to troubleshoot it. I Googled the issue and I'm not the only one with the problem. It seems to be router related. But I don't know how to cure it.

I am getting the same error, but I am also getting the following error (attached screenshot)

Any ideas?

basically I either get the attached error or "wrong username and password". I have already looked on the board to no avail

I ran into this yesterday. I cleared and reentered the server data and everything works now for me,

YMMV

Send me a log immediately after you get the error. It might be a server failure that I can't fix, but I should at least be able to make it fail more gracefully.

Ok, on my subsonic website on my PC I chose "Clean-up database" in Media folders and it appears to work now...on wifi and 4G

Is "Clean-up database" what you meant by "cleared server data"?

Thank you for the help

So it is working now, but I will certainly remember to SEND LOG next time anything "weird' happen" (assuming I have not made changes myself to the PC or app)

cheers

I have two feature requests:

1. When you're browsing your Library, then go to the Playing tab and then back to the Library, you end up back at the top of the directory tree - could the program be set to remember your previous position in the Library?

2. Could an option be added to choose between Cache and Download as the default option when a song or album is played? I'd prefer to download only my favourite songs/albums and cache anything else...

1) Yah this is already semi done in the new UI that I am working on.

2) I'm not sure if you understand the difference between cache and download or if I am misunderstanding you. By default songs are just downloaded and they are eligible to be deleted if you start running out of room. Download does this as well, but just in the background instead of needing to be added to the now playing list. Cache on the other hand just makes it so that it won't be deleted when running out of room. So now to be sure, you are asking for an option to make it so that everything downloaded would be cached? I'm not sure if there would be any point in that tbh. It seems like just putting the cache size to be a really high number would accomplish the same thing.

Since updating today, the widget no longer works on my Galaxy S3. All of the other issues I've been having seem to have been fixed by turning off Gapless Playback.

Can you try to remove the widget and put it back again real quick? I changed the way the buttons act in the widgets and it might have screwed with existing widgets (it didn't in testing for me, but you never know).

Ah, I always thought it was the other way round (i.e. cache = songs eligible to be deleted, download = songs not deleted). Thanks for the clarification and looking forward to seeing the new UI in action :)

I did that before posting. I'm gonna remove the widget, uninstall, reinstall, and put the widget back up to see if that works. I'll let you know the results.

EDIT: Reinstalling worked!

Yeah, if this is the case, you might want to swap that nomenclature around. It seems to me that caching is something that happens naturally while downloading (or to be even clearer, "pinning") is something you manually trigger and thus should not be overridden.
