Great app, bought it a few days ago have have been using it daily.

Only major issue I have is that the alphabetized quick access/scroll bar for the library is pretty broken/unusable. I assume this is because it's determining the position of the lettered scroll sections based off the library list before it's completely loaded, so I pull down to "R" for example and it's still only showing me "A" entries. If I go to "#" which is at the very bottom of the quick scroll list it very quickly skips all the way to my last folders, completely zooming by "B" through "Y". I guess my library is pretty big (1000+ folders) so it maybe needs a bit more time to populate before the quick scroller decides the anchor points for each letter. It's just super annoying to have to scroll to any letters except "A" or "Z" without the shortcuts working. I can replicate the issue every single time if you need more details/troubleshooting to fix it.

I also wish the desktop and notification widgets would get a little more love. The desktop widget would benefit from some basic customization options like background transparency and font/button color, as well as some sort of visual notification as to the current position/time left/time elapsed in the track (whether it's purely numerical or a more visual progress bar, I don't really have a preference). The notification widget is almost perfect but it needs a previous track button! Why is it the next track only? You can't have one without the other!

Hi
Just wondering how the playlists that ard kept sync'd acctually work.
I create a playlist which I call guest it resides on the servef as ghis is where I created it.
I open dsub and play this playlist called 'guest list'.
I can adc songs to the playlist from dsub and other subsonic apps that can see the playlist but the now playing list remains static - it is not updated to include newsongs added after the playlist is loaded and starts playing. The only way round this is to reload the playlist - not ideal.
I would like to be able to add songs to the playing pkaylst dynamically but also would like my wife and children to be able to add songs dynamically from their iphone and ipad apps.
Is this possible? Can the playlist loaded and playing be dynamically refreshed on the the device that loads it and plays it initially but also on other devices as a 'now playing' list?
This would make dsub the perfect party app
Keep up the goid work!

I'm sure there used to be a "refresh" button when using "random" on Dsub to get a fresh set of random titles if there is nothing takes your fancy... or did I imagine it. Anyway it seems to have gone. If I did imagine it then it would be a useful addition. If it has been removed could I suggest it be replaced.
thanks

As far as I can tell, you can keep scrolling forever to get new choices (when displaying large art). When not displaying large art, you can refresh by pulling the list down. What's the issue (other than the inconsistency)?

You can pull to refresh either way...

But you can't keep scrolling either way, hence, "inconsistency." Not a big thing.

RIGHT!
This is where it is different. Previously new choices appeared at the BOTTOM of the list - ie. swiping up to get to them. Now you create a new list by swiping DOWN. Thanks guys.

If all it requires is adding UPnP casting, which I plan on adding at some point, then yes. If it requires more, probably not as I have a lot larger targets to try to push music too at this point.

Small feature request here..

When an artist is selected, there is the option to 'Show all media'. First of all, thank you for including this! No other app or webplayer has this feature that I know of.
Would it be possible to have these songs sorted alphabetically? Many times I'm not sure which album a song is from and this would drastically cut search times when trying to find a song. My friends (which I'm in the process of converting) are acustomed to the alphabetical sorting because that's what's traditionally found in the mainstream music players.

And thanks for getting the crashes fixed!

I always have to force stop the app, otherwise the lockscreen always displays music art and controls. Is there some way to fix this?

I noticed that one of the change lists for a previous version of Android mentioned something about you fixing how DSub has been preempting Bluetooth connections. Is there any chance that you maybe didn't go far enough on this change?

I ask because I've noticed that DSub still preempts my other Bluetooth connected players every chance it gets. It doesn't matter what app I leave connected to my Bluetooth stereo, when it re-connects DSub will always take control. It's really annoying because I frequently have left off on a quieter app, then when DSub takes control it is blaring.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling DSub, and it didn't work. I'm currently running DSub version 4.6.4 on a Samsung Galaxy S4. Let me know if there is anything else that I can try or send you to help track this down.

I've sent a email to the person I had originally dealt with to fix this. I'm curious if it still fixed for them.
