Because I have no idea what your problem is since that is not how it behaves on anything I own or have seen. The lock screen should clear when paused after you unlock it once. That is the standard Android behavior.

I've noticed the same issue. It used to work until recently. It says "successfully synced _ songs" when I go online, but they don't actually get scrobbled. Does work when I use the app in online mode though.

His issue is completely different from yours if you are just having it not scrobble when going back online. Can you send me a log after it happens since I can't seem to reproduce the problem myself.

I think I found a bug. I'm on version 4.7.3, attempting to use Tasker to pause music, but the simulated pause/play button press only opens my stock player, regardless of the "media buttons" option checked. This does work, however, in the original subsonic app.

I'm adding a Tasker plugin in the next release to startup and play DSub directly already. It works in Subsonic because it is programmed to take over all media button presses, and DSub does not because it should not. Tasker is simulating the media button events, so they do not behave the same was an actual button press does. I'm not going to change anything and possibly break it for people using Bluetooth devices when there will be a better alternative soon ;)

Ah, that's even better, I'm looking forward to that!

Try Media Button Router from the play store, it can direct media directives to the app of your choice.

Is there a bug streaming to chromecast? It seemed to be working fine a few days ago. Now it hangs up when connecting. I've tried restarting my phone and the chromecast. Galaxy s4.

This is the perfect solution, thanks for the tip!

Hi! I've been using DSub for a long time and it's by far the best and most used app on my phone. However I have encountered a couple of minor problems. Firstly as of some time ago I'm no longer able to scrobble to Last.fm. Scrobbling works when I play a song in the Subsonic web-interface, but thru Dsub I get nothing in the Subsonic log. The strange thing is that scorbbling thru Dsub seems to work on my test server running 4.9, but not on my main server that is on 4.5. I have also tried to reinstall Dsub on my phone, but that didn't help.

The second problem is in the UI, as can be seen in the screenshot below the title of the track is somewhat overlapping the album art, changing the font size on my phone does not seem to have any effect. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S2 running stock 4.1.2.

I know what the problem is there. In one of the last updates I changed scrobbling to be on by default and check the server for whether or not the user has permissions. Subsonic sending the scrobble setting for the user wasn't added until Subsonic 4.6 though, and I didn't realize this before. It's a fairly simple fix. I just have to change scrobbling to default to true instead of false. Send me a email and I can send you a fixed version or you can wait until the next release for a fix.
