If it would help, I can recreate all 3 events and send you a log.

Are you using any sort of task killer or battery saving things? They could be killing the app for memory issues. (Don't use task killers, for this and other reasons)

Using DSub on an HTC One M8 Lollipop. When I am running the client against the latest Subsonic server (Windows 8.1), jukebox mode, all of a sudden the track playback speeds up. It sounds like the Chipmunks are singing each track. Well, not that bad but it acts like it's playing a 45 at 78 rpm. The only way to stop it is to completely stop the playlist and then start another song. Eventually, it will do it again. Any guesses?

Thanks!

Apps have no control over Jukebox play speed so I have no idea unfortunately.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but I only see it when it's in jukebox mode. If I find an answer I'll post a reply. Thanks.

I have a strange problem where the app starts playing music when I send a message in whatsapp. Only way to stop from happening is clearing the app from memory

I used to have similar problems. It was always because mediaserver or something like that crashed int he background. Check your logcats.

Hi,

With the latest version 5.0 I don't have the play next song option.
In Appearance > optional menu Options I have marked the Play next (and play last) option but the only visible option in the song is Play Last.

You can long select a song and the use the overflow menu to add songs to next. The context menu was getting too large and causing issues so I had to take some stuff off.

I am having horrible problems with file corruption of the cache since the new update. I finally tracked it down to a conflict with the Swype keyboard I'm using (on a Galaxy Note 3). If I use Swype in another app (like sending a text message) while DSub is playing, the song that is playing instantly becomes garbled and then skips to the next track, which becomes some random bit of music from another file in my collection, not even by the same artist. The entire rest of the album (that has cached) is similarly corrupted. I then have to delete the entire cache of the album I'm trying to listen to, and restart the album from scratch. If I use Swype at any point while listening, the same chain of events repeats. Super annoying. I have duplicated the error on several albums. No problems when listening without typing. To be honest, I can't think of anything in the update that was an improvement (for me, anyway). Is there a way to go back a version?

EDIT: I rescind my comments about the corrupted cache. Seems my SD card is corrupt and the occurrence was just a coincidence (though strange that it could be duplicated time after time). My penultimate sentence still stands.

This seems a long way around

Long touch the pin
Select "Play next"

Now I have to

Long select the song
Wait for the "1 song selected" to appear in the title bar
Click on the ...
Select the "Play next"

Is it possible to just introduce the "Play next" option into the context menu?

I agree with the comments about the new interface. I am a huge (huge) fan of Dsub, but the new interface eschews functionality for UI sugar (what's with that graphic on the top of the left-side pull-out tray?) and "streamlining".
