Muting of music for notifications

I noticed a couple of released back that d sub now pauses the music when a sat nav notification comes through and then resumes playback. This was a much requested feature so thanks.
As I have a speed camera app that runs all the time this becomes annoying due to the constant pausing / resuming of the music.
Can I request that instead of pausing the music that the volume is turned down to around 70% volume, or add an option to turn this feature off all together.
Cheers

Sure I'll look more into it. Honestly the reason I did pause instead of lowering the volume was because I couldn't quickly figure out how to lower the volume and I just forgot to back and fix it.

I like pause. The older you get, the less multi-tasking you do.

Hmm, so maybe it would be better to give an option for it. I'll look into it

Thanks. Lowering the volume would be better but I'd be happy with an option to just turn the pausing feature on or off.

I did not realize DSub handled this properly. I had asked the question in the main thread and I do not believe I got an answer (or more I more likely missed it).
Armed with this new knowledge I am now off to the Play Store to purchase DSub!!!

And BTW - I prefer the option to pause or lower. I actually like pause best but I can see when it would be beneficial to lower the volume instead. What I wouldn't like is having the volume lowering as the only option.

Purchased. Tested. It works. Done.
Uninstalling Subsonic, Google Music, and Power Amp. I have now have one app that 'just works'.

The option for either pause or lower volume is now there and ready to go for the next release. And if you care about gapless playback you might want to keep PowerAmp installed since I haven't figured it out yet

Thanks.
... Now I just need to figure out why my subsonic service keeps crashing so I can use d sub again

I finally got a chance to test the 'lower volume' option with Google Nav and DSub. Unfortunately, when the volume lowers it also lower the Google Nav volume and I cannot hear the instructions.
The option to pause still works perfectly.
I have not tested DSub with CoPilot Live yet. I suspect it will work better since CoPilot uses its own volume controls.

Right you are. I just looked and it looks like I stupidly set it to lower the stream's volume instead of the individual media player's volume. I'll definitely fix it for you
