I'm using the latest version of Dsub. I have a stock nexus s 4g with JB. Dsub has started misbehaving with the widget. When I restart the phone, the widget on my home screen disappears and I have to readd it. I also have the widet in widget locker, and it disapears there too. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and it continues to disapear after restarting my phone. Is it just me or is this a bug of some kind? Otherwise, I'm liking this more than the original subsonic app.
Thanks
Jason

I'll see if I can reproduce the problem, but since no one else seems to be having this problem I'm thinking it's much more likely an issue with your specific phone/home screen launcher.

It's a problem with jelly bean. To make it more secure they moved the installation location for paid apps.
You can backup and uninstall it with titanium backup. Then reinstall the backup to your sd card. Google it for better instructions.
I have this problem with d sub, pure calendar and hd widgets. Unfortunately when the apps update they seem to get reinstalled back in the original location.

Odd. do you have any clue how to solve it? I haven't heard of this and can't find much info on a solution.

Well it looks like its a problem only for paid apps so I don't really have a way to test if I fixed it, but it seems like some people were reporting that settings location to internalOnly is now being respected, so I will have to see if the next update fixes this issue. Some others are also reporting that if you uninstall and install the app while you your device connected to usb that it then installs to the unencrypted location and works properly.

I would imagine that a temporary workaround would be to install the apk directly from gethub until it gets fixed from the market paid app perspective...

Well I really don't want my phone to get updated to JB now. I'm looking at the issue thread for this and holy crap this problem extends to a lot of paid apps for widgets, accounts, and sync and there doesn't seem to be any in app work around. They really screwed up a lot of apps and haven't done anything about it in 6 months or said that they even intend on fixing it.

Makes me glad I'm still rocking good ol' ICS and GB on my devices...
