I'm having problems with getting bluetooth working. It works great with google music, samsungs stock app but what happens is when I try and play something with dsub, goolge music will play instead. I wondering if there is a setting in Android to make dsub the default bluetooth app?

What do you mean when you "try to play". You mean that when you press the play button in Dsub it starts in Google Music instead?

You could try to disable/uninstall Google Music.

Some update on this. After moving away from the Sony stock ROM to Cyanogenmod I have managed to find a solution.
I have set up a macro using MacrDroid to automatically launch DSuB on BT media device connect, wait 3 seconds and then start the "Media:Play/Pause" activity, which this time seems to be picked up by DSuB. Great

Same issue here... with DSub, and the original Android client.
The music starts playing for a few seconds and then my car says "Playback stopped" and the music stopped playing over bluetooth, however the client is still playing back. I simply can't here it anymore. So I guess the BT-stack resets.
It doesn't happen with any other player.
I'm using an Xperia Z
