I have a Motorola Bionic running ICS 4.0.4 and DSub 3.7.4. If I have BT on, even if I am not connected to anything, DSub constantly pauses. I can workaround it by disabling BT, but it is a pain because I use quite a few BT devices. I set the temporary loss of focus settings to "do nothing", but it still pauses random and frequently.

Any ideas?

What do you mean constantly. Like every few seconds or just an annoying amount of the time? Are there any commonalities that you notice such as going by BT devices or something.

This happens with my AT&T Galaxy Note II running 4.1.2. It seems random, ill try to get a logcat when it happens and post it here.

ok so here is a logcat. the pause happens right at the end basically the last ~20 lines or so

Odd, I don't see any pauses in the last 20 or so lines. The last pause I see is while you are playing "Welcome To Bangkok" and it claims that bluetooth was disconnected at that point, which is why it tries to pause. Do you remember what song you were listening to that paused? And if not can you do it again and post which song you were listening to that it paused on as more information?

I was listening to "13 RAD 10 Taylor Swift Is A Liar".

It mostly happens close to the end of tracks. Usually im driving so it is hard to get a logcat. if it happens again ill email it to you my email is my username @ gmail dot com.

Well in the logcat it appears that that particular song is never paused. IT just tries to "start" it multiple times. Relevant part:

I'm wondering if that is the problem. I will have to add a check so that if it is already playing it won't try to start it again. I'm quite curious as to why you are receiving a series of random media events to start playing though.

Let me know know if the latest update fixed the issue or not.

Ill let you know if it happens on my drive home today!

i haven't had any issues with pausing at random. seems like issues may be resolved. now that i moved to CM10.1 there is no more meta data (i know this is an android 4.2 issue)

I'm also having repeated pause problems with the latest version, not sure if it's BT related. I do have a Pebble watch connected via BT, so it might be related.

Will see about logcat, but since I'm on 4.2.2, I hear that's problematic now.

Should just be able to use the send log function from the home screen in dsub...I just used this yesterday on 4.2.2 without problem. It may be the standard logcat apps are now broken but this built in function is fine.
