Feature Request: DSP Manager support

Hi, I don't know if you are familiar with the XDA community or not, but a developer has made a sound mod that increases sound quite significantly and it uses DSP Manager, which at the moment DSub does not support. The thread is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2059185 if you want to check it out. And if you were to add support I would definitely appreciate it.

Nothing?.. You could do it the same way that google play music does their EQ, as that is compatible.

This has been discussed a bit in the huge main thread. I have removed every single reference to the EQ until it is actually being used, yet it is still being blocked. Unless you have an idea I have absolutely no idea what else I can do to not block DSP Manager. As Google Play Music isn't open source, I have absolutely no idea how they do their EQ or what the "same way" is.

Apollo works with it and it is also by CyanogenMod which is open source. Source code for them is here:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod and for Apollo I believe it's here:

Apollo doesn't have it's own EQ, does it? If it does, let me know where. I just installed it and don't see one anywhere. The problem is that the EQ in the app appears to be interfering with the 3d party EQ you are trying to use.

No, sorry I meant that Apollo works with DSP Manager and musicFX in the same way that Play Music does. If you go to the now playing screen and push the menu button or the 3 dot overflow onscreen it should be equalizer or sound effects. Also Power Amp supposedly has support, although I have not tried it.

Alright, I will have to look at how it is done there and see if I can figure out how to fix it.

If you haven't yet I would go on XDA and ask for a little help, if needed, I know Subsonic is one of the favorable streaming services on there, so surely someone would be up for it.
Thanks for at least trying to fix it, I really appreciate it.

Does anyone want to test this with a third party DSP manager? One of the differences I found between players like Apollo is that they sent out a custom intent that I think I might be part of it.

Yeah, sucks for devs like you, having to do extra work to fix it. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Hi.
I have been using the apk supplied in this thread, but recently I bought DSub from Play store. Is there any reason that the DSP manager support is left out of the Play store version?
