Unable to play video on Android device

I have the latest DSub client on my Android (RAZR Maxx HD) and I have no problems streaming music. It works great. Can video be played on DSub too?

The same folders that I'm able to stream video through on my web client (on Firefox) work fine, I can see the files in the library, select and play them no problem. On my phone, I see the folder where the videos should be, but then the folder is empty. I get a message that says "connecting to server"....then "reading from server" (like it's actually going to load them) but then when it's done, I see the title of the folder ("Videos") but there are no results.

Most, if not all of the video files I want to stream are in FLV format.

Thanks in advance.

The only reason I have ever seen something just not shown up is because there isn't a active transcoding for it. If you look on the server under settings -> transcodings, you need to make sure that the video transcode has flv as a convert from field.

Convert FROM flv TO flv? Sorry, I get so confused with the transcoding settings.

What's interesting is that if I search by file name, I can see SOME of the videos from the video folder, and I can stream them to the phone, but if I try to view my videos folder on my phone it doesn't show any files. If I view my videos folder on the web-client in my browser, I can see the files.

The files can't be in the "root" of the folder defined in Subsonic. They need to be in a subfolder. If you create another subfolder under the main folder, and move all your videos there, you should be able to see them (may require a rescan).
