Anyway to disable the lockscreen controls?

I have DSub and I do like it more than the subsonic app I have been using for years. The only issue Im having is it is constantly showing the lockscreen widget when its not supposed to on my samsung galaxy S4. It makes the lockscreen always ugly looking and the album art doesnt look right at all. Even if I exit the app and I leave it locked for a bit it will show the lockscreen widget. I dont even have to open the app after a reboot the dsub lockscreen widget will be there. Anyway to disable the lockscreen controls?
