volume/equalizer changing between tracks

Hello,

apologies if this has been asked and answered, i didn't see a similar topic.

When listening to transcoded flac tracks on my S3 through DSub, it seems like the track volume is changing. The first song will be 'normal', the next track will be significantly quieter, the next track will be 'normal', and so on. This causes me to have to constantly adjust the volume during playback.

It's hard to say if it's an equalizer change or a volume change, but it seems to be volume. The equalizer settings in the player do not change. Is this something that would show up in a log somewhere?

There does not appear to be anything in the logs that I can see. How long has this been going on? Is there a system EQ you can make sure is off? Do you get the same problem with DSub's EQ off?
