Music pause problem with 4.7.3

Has anyone else noticed a problem with version 4.7.3 when the system pauses the music for any reason? In my case, the music jumps back in the song when it's resumed. In addition, the progress bar gets off when this happens because it doesn't move back when the music does.

For instance, if playing a song and at two minutes in, someone calls. After the call, the song resumes playing but at 30 seconds into the song. However, the progress bar thinks the song is still at two minutes. The progress bar will fill up to 100%, and the current time counter will keep going until the song ends, so that (in this case) it will be 1:30 longer than the song length shown on the right of the progress bar.

I've also noticed this version gets in the multiple song playing problem much more readily.

I'm using a Samsung S3 with 4.4.4 CM based ROM.

I gave it a try and don't see the same issue you are having. Maybe try flashing back to stock and seeing if it is a problem with CM? While some of the logic surrounding the call was changed, it still definitely calls pause. I would also suggest maybe reinstalling the app from scratch to make sure it's not a corrupted install.

I cleared the data for the app and started from scratch. The only thing I've done so far is add my server. I haven't noticed the problem yet, so I'll keep an eye (or an ear) out for it.

I have had a few other people report the same issue. I found a possible cause of the issue and fixed it in the 4.7.4 version going out now. Please report if you have the issue again.

Sorry I never got back on this. I'm glad others are reporting it, but I don't have a reliable reproducing scenario, but now that you mention it, I haven't noticed it lately. Still running the custom load you sent last night, although the Play Store wants to upgrade me to the latest 4.7.6 beta.

I think the bug was in the common base code most subsonic clients are using...I would swear I had the same problem in the latest Ultrasonic client yesterday when I tried it.

In any case, I'll play music all day and see if I can get it to happen along with watching for the cache folder issue.
