Bluetooth showing next track info

Hi, I have a minor issue, using Dsub on Verizon G2 with the stock 4.4.2 rom. When I play a song, I briefly get the title on my Pioneer head unit, then it switches the track info on the head unit display to the next song in queue for the duration of the current song. Next song comes on, same behavior. I don't see this with Google Play Music or the built in music player on the app. What makes it real odd is if I switch to an AOSP rom on this phone, it works fine. Any suggestions?

Does the correct thing show up on the lock screen and in the widget? I'm not sure how it would be even getting the next track info to display in the first place.

Yes it does show correct on the widget, lock screen and the app itself, it's quite puzzling.

I'm going to try out the standard Subsonic app and see how it's behaving later today.

Go ahead and email me at dsub.android@gmail.com. I see a couple of things I can try commenting out temporarily to see if they change anything.

I have the same issue, my bluetooth device show the next track.
I also have LG G2 (D802) running kitkat.

Is this issue due to the phone ?
