Most Cover Art Missing [Android Release 4.7.7] {SOLVED}

I searched through this forum last night on my phone and didn't find anything specifically related to my issue. Apologies if I somehow missed it. While DSub is working admirably from a playing perspective, it seems that most of my album art is not displayed. In the official app, all album art appears as expected during playback or in the relevant sections. Using DSub however, only shows a handful of the available art. Is there some setting I'm missing? The only possible explanation I can come up with is that I've installed the current beta version of the SubSonic server (5.0 Beta 2). Any insight is appreciated.

I'm not aware of any issues with the cover art. Can you pm or email me a temporary login/password so I can look directly at whether or not it is an app or server issue. Both DSub and Subsonic cache the cover art, so if It is a recent server issue the old cover art would still be showing in Subsonic.

Alright, it is an app issue. I don't know if I have time to look into it more tonight, but I should have time tomorrow night to fix it.

What a silly issue. When I first added gzip compression a while back, I only added it for the text response as compressing pictures/already compressed mp3's is pointless. In the new Beta gzip compression is enabled across the board. For some reason some cover arts downloaded fine while others failed because I wasn't reading the compressed file correctly. Either way it should be fixed for the next release. Email if you want a apk with the fix earlier.

Thanks again for your effort. I've marked the thread as solved. I can wait on the official release unless you think it's going to be ages. However, if you feel like an extra mercy mission, any insights you may have into this thread would also be appreciated.
