Feature request: Keep different DSub-clients in sync with JB

It would be great if one could use DSub on different smartphones / tablets. All using DSub against the same local Subsonic server and all have Jukebox active. And for all of these, the 'currently playing' and active playlist are synced. So let’s say smartphone A starts playing a new album on Jukebox, when looking at tablet B at the currently playing, the same album is selected – and both could control the playback on Jukebox alternatively (pause, resume, skip etc).
I’m currently using squeezebox with multiply clients, but I do want to switch to Subsonic. And this would be a feature I would really miss when switching…

I tried this before and it is currently impossible with DSub. Each user has its own state on the server for some reason.

Is the state per user or per session? Because I'm using the same user-account for subsonic on all devices.
Also, since the jukebox ist played on the server, I does make sense, that all those connected to the server see the same. Maybe it's something that could be adressed at subsonic itself?

I'm curious about whether or not this feature is even on the road map. Anyone know?

AFAIK the server still does not and probably will never support multiple users sharing a Jukebox session. I do plan on making clients sync together a bit more if multiple users are connected to the same Subsonic Server through Chromecast, but unless something changes on the Subsonic side I have no intention of making any changes for Jukebox mode.

Gotcha and makes sense. Hoping against hope that Subsonic allows for this!
Also, thank you for the excellent work with DSub. It makes music listening quite enjoyable!
