Option to pause instead of lowering volume

Postby olofmogren » Thu Jan 15, 2015 10:14 am

Hi, and thank you for a great app!

I often use DSub to listen to both music and audiobooks. When I listen to audiobooks and another app wants to say something (like driving directions from Maps or cheering from Runkeeper), DSub lowers the volume. This is perfect when listening to music, but problematic when listening to audiobooks, as I easily get distracted if there is a period when I don't hear what is being said. I recently tried out the Audible app, which instead pauses and then rewinds a very short time (about one second, I think), and this is much better for books.

Would it be possible to add an option to not only lower the volume when other apps play sounds, but also have the possibility of having DSub pause and rewind a tiny bit?

It already is an option to pause under playback -> loss of focus.

Thank you! And sorry for reduntant feature requests!

Could you add one option for audiobooks that would rewind a tiny bit after the pause?
