cache limit not... limiting?

Postby isaacq » Sun Apr 19, 2015 5:17 pm

Very sorry if this has been mentioned anywhere else, I couldn't find it.

Ever since my last update of the DSub app, my cache is overfilling and I get error notification that my Android storage is out of space. I have my cache set to 2500MB, but this morning when I looked in the cache folder, it had over 11GB of music in there.

Could this be a bug introduced in the latest DSub version, or does it sound like I might have an unrelated problem??

My phone is Samsung Note 4.
Using Subsonic 5.2.1 (build 4428).
DSub version 4.9.5.
Cache location is the default.

Thanks in advance :)

I don't think anything was changed recently that should be causing that. Do you have a lot of music pinned? Pinned music does not count account the cache total since it makes no sense to delete pinned music. Another thing you can do is close out DSub (swiped it away from the recent apps menu), then re-open DSub and send me a log (Home tab -> Send Log). It will have some more in-depth cache related info I can take a look at.
