I have a Mazda 3.
Recently updated from a KitKat Galaxy S3 to a Lollipop Asus Zenfone 2.

The ramifications are this.
When connected via Bluetooth, even if my track #s are enabled, which they are, they will not show on my car screen any longer.

They used to show.

Now the track title is "--- [TITLE]"
It used to be "01- [TITLE]"

Is there any particularl reason for this or am I SOL?

The track # and title are passed as separate pieces of data. If just changing phones stopped the track # from being displayed its because the phone manufacturer screwed something up. So pretty much SOL.
