Streaming FLACs to Chromecast Audio

I am trying to stream FLACs to a Chromecast Audio. I went into the D-Sub settings and told it to use unlimited bandwidth when on wifi.

if I pick any song in my library that is a FLAC file, I get noticeable pauses when I stream to a Chromecast audio. And the length of the song is wrong. For example:

I look on the album list for "The Turn of a Friendly Card" by The Alan Parsons Project and I see that the song "Games People Play" is 4:25. When I click on the song and start it playing the Now Playing screen shows a length of 12:36. When it gets to 4:25, Dsub says "Buffering" and it never gets to the next song.

If I try and stream anything that's not a FLAC, it seems to be fine.

Fixed the issue.

The Dsub Chromecast connection makes a new player called DsubCC. I went into the settings for DsubCC and turned off all transcoding options. Now all tracks show the proper length and all stuttering and buffering is gone.

I think I've got a similar problem, but I can't find anything called DsubCC on my phone. How did you get to the settings for that player? Thanks!

Ah ok, thought apastuszak was looking at settings on his phone. Cool. I just went into my server software and disabled all transcoding. (I'm running Ampache with Subsonic API enabled, BTW. Been having the issue people reported last year with the Chromecast only playing back one or two songs from the playlist, then hanging. Scouring the forums to try to find possible solutions.)
