One search result in multiple media folders

I have 2 media folders, mp3 and flac, which are added to my Subsonic config. When I search with Dsub for an artist, and it's in both folders, I only get result from the flac folder. Do I need to change a setting to get results from both folders?
Just to get this clear, when I search for this particular artist from the Subsonic web interface, I see 2 entries, so one in each folder. I would prefer, by the way, to simply get one result with all the albums of both the mp3 and the flac folder. If anyone could enlighten me on this, I would be very happy.

After a media rescan on the server, the problem was solved.
