artist/album/song not showing up on car stereo display.

Hey all

So my issue is that the artist/album/song tags/labels are displayed on my Alpine 137BT car stereo when playing music from my Samsung S3 (jellybean), but not with my  S5 (lollipop). On the S5, all that shows is artist/album/song.

I have checked that the DSub settings are the same on both phones. I even cleared/erased the pairing of my s3 with the stereo.

Also, the stereo's play/pause and ff/rw skip buttons work with S3, but only the play/pause on the S5, and very delayed on the s5

Any ideas?
