How to select media folders?

It seems that DSub defaults to using all media folders that a user has access to.

Is it possible to play a shuffle on only a specific media folder? Or, ideally, a group of selections?

Or do I need to create multiple users that have various levels of access to achieve this? Seems a little hacky.

Thanks~

DSub gives an option to select the media folder under the Library tab. If you do not see it, it is probably because you are using Tag Browsing on an older version of Subsonic which did not support folder selection with that particular feature. The shuffle functionality default to using the currently selected folder to grab random songs from. The API does not support grabbing random songs from multiple folders.

I'm on the latest dev branch of Libresonic. Looks like the dropdown appears when I turn off Tag Browsing, as you mention. I'll play with this some more later using the latest Subsonic, and with MusicCabinet as well.

Not a terrible issue as you can workaround this by using multiple users and Server configurations. And, thankfully, you've made it easy to switch between "servers" from the side pane, so its not too bad 8)

Is Libresonic still alive? Last I checked it had some activity for like the first month and nothing since
