Android 7.1 Bug: Music starts playing upon Restart

I've discovered a bug in DSub when using the latest Android version (7.1).
Basically, when I tell the phone to restart, DSub immediately starts playing music and cycles through 2-3 tracks before the phone is able to initiate the reboot.
So, for about 10 secs, music is blasting out the phone (unless I have headphones in), without my control or ability to stop it. This becomes a big deal when I'm at work, for example, because it's quite an interruption.
It'll play about 3 secs of a track, then skip to the next one, play another 3 secs or so, skip to the next, play another 3 secs, then finally the phone is able to finish its "preparation" to reboot.
