UltraSonic out of Google Play?

Postby bjesus » Sun Apr 19, 2015 1:02 pm

Anyone knows why? Even though not being developed, I find UltraSonic the best client for Android.
I saw some new fork on GitHub but apparently it's not being published on Google Play yet :-(

UltraSonic is my preferred Android client too. Do you have a link for the new fork or is there an APK we can download?

Yeah UltraSonic is totally gone! Real bummer. Had to factory reset my phone and now I can no longer get the app. Sad panda :(

The ultrasonic project is dead. I try to make pull request to master with Spanish translation a year ago and still waiting.

Hello guys.

As I see that the Ultrasonic is not published in Google Play I updated the project to import in Android Studio, build it, and reupload to Store in https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.moire.ultrasonic.

It's EXACTLY same code that the original repo but with two improvements:
  • My spanish translation pull request. (Now my mother can use the app without call me) :D
  • Now the application stores caches and downloaded music in sdcard/Android/data/org.moire.ultrasonic/ instead sdcard/ultrasonic directly. Is more elegant and the correct behaviour.

Note that I'm not super mega expert of master of universe Android developer, and cannot make much more that small fixes. All pull requests are welcome.

Ah! And you can install this version without uninstalling the old one, the package name is different and can have two versions installed to test that this version is OK.
