AVSub now supports CarPlay

Hi all,

In the latest release, I've added initial support for CarPlay.

You can now browse and play from your cache using CarPlay. Future releases will add further support.

There's a couple of bug fixes in there too.

Hi Rich,

I have to start by saying that I love the app. It has really given me what I need when streaming my music on the go. The addition of CarPlay is definitely a nice addition. I'm curious... now that AVSub has been integrated with CarPlay, what are the chances that it could be integrated with voice navigation?

I am picturing either a voice button within the app or Siri itself. Something like "play this artist" or "play this album by this person" and so on.

This would definitely help keep eyes on the road.

Hi

Siri shortcuts is on the list of things to do! I've yet to investigate it though and I know that Apple is very protective of keeping Siri to itself with apps that play music.
