CarSub V3 is out now

Hi all,

I'm pleased to announce that the new version of my Subsonic client CarSub, is now available on the App Store - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/carsub/id923424694?mt=8

This version of the app brings caching to CarSub.

Here's the list of features and updates in this version:

CarSub now supports caching so you can listen to your music even when you're not connected to the Internet. CarSub will cache what you listen to in the background, or you can choose to download tracks or albums direct into the cache for quick pre-loading.

Cache size is configurable, along with other options such as read-from-cache, write-to-cache and the ability to control direct-downloading over a mobile/cellular network.

Cache management in CarSub is a piece of cake too! When browsing the cache, simple swipe right-to-left on the track or album to reveal a delete button. See the CarSub website for more details.

CarSub now also supports older versions of Subsonic, right back to Subsonic version 4.0.

Tweaks made:

- Disabled dimming of display if on now-playing screen.
- Long press on header takes you back to the main screen
- Upside-down orientation supported
- White status bar
- Host defaults to HTTP in configuration
- Reworked recently played/viewed view
- Album art where possible
- Album view now has more information and album art
- Different selection style in lists
- Added support for inline remote play/pause

Bugs fixed:

- Fixed a bug that made the activity view flash
- Fixed a bug with repeating playlists
- Memory leak addressed
- Fixed a controls bug with 1-track playlist

Thanks for the update, Caching works great! It would be nice to be able to play the cache as a playlist. Playlist support in general would be appreciated! Keep up the good work!
