CarSub V4 is now available in the App Store - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/carsub/id923424694?mt=8

CarSub has had a user-interface refresh, along with the following tweaks and fixes

- Total playlist time remaining added
- iPhone 4/4S Now-Playing screen improvements
- Playing from cache indicator - italic track index
- Large folders with lots of album art are now much smoother to access
- Direct-download speed is now shown on the cache screen
- Option to respect the ignoredArticles value sent by Subsonic on the main music index folder (ignore 'the' etc)
- Ability to reverse the swipe playback gestures
- Compatibility fix for Madsonic

V5 is well underway too, with Playlist support being the main feature.

Is there anyway I could get a link on the main screen to "Random Albums"? I like to listen to random albums in my collection and having a link on the main screen would be awesome!

Thank you for the continued updates!

The new interface is nice, keep up the great changes. Also, thank you for the option to reverse the gestures.

Couple more requests-
- I usually don't need to know the album name, do you think it could be possible to add a setting to hide album name on now playing screen? Or maybe move it down above/below the song title and make the shuffle/repeat buttons slightly smaller? This would prevent the header from scrolling as I find it distracting.
- In the cache screen it would be super handy to have a play all and shuffle all option. I nearly always play from my cache of songs and like to shuffle them all.
- I would love to also have a search for both Music Index and Cache.
- I would love to have two write to cache settings, one that prevents streamed songs from caching and one that controls the press and hold to download option. For instance, I sometimes like to listen to a bit of a song to make sure it is the one I want to cache so don't want those streams to cache, but I don't want to have to go change setting to download a song to my cache.
- In that vain, it would be handy to have an indicator if the songs I am seeing in the music index had been cached or not.
- I would love a gesture to drag up or down for volume control, for those times I am not connected to my car.
- I would love the ability to read playlists from the server, as well as write playlists to the server. (So can't wait for v5!!!!!)
- I still am not showing any letters beyond "j". I will try and see if I can figure out the issue. Maybe it is hitting a weird character or something. I just checked once I got home to see what the issue might be, and I am not seeing anything that would cause it to stop at "J". Wonder if it is timing out, as it seems to return the alphabet choices pretty quick. I have a pretty large library so it may need more time to load everything. Just guessing.

Weird that you only get up to the letter J! I wonder if there's a stray character there too, although the fact that it presents up-to J means that it got a complete reply.

If you set me up a user and give me the details I can take a look.
