Hi all,
Version 8.5 of AVSub, the iOS client for Subsonic and variants, it out now.
This version adds support for French, German, Danish, Dutch, Spanish, (Simplified) Chinese and Russian.
I've also added full multi-disc album support in ID3 mode and the ability to disable streaming over cellular/mobile.
V9 is in testing now and adds Jukebox mode, SSL and a fully-integrated now-playing playlist along with tweaks and fixes.
Download on the App Store now!
Thanks
Rich

I'm running into a bug with 8.5:
No matter which track I select, on any recording, it always starts with the first song. If I want to hear song #10, I have to start with song #1 and use the "forward" button to reach the track I want. This was not an issue with earlier versions.
Anyone else seeing this problem?

Rich,
Here is more info on the bug I found:
If I turn off the "ID3 tags instead of folders" option, everything works fine. I can play any track I want without it always starting at the first song.
As soon as I turn that option back on, the problem is back.
So I'll just go back to using the folder structure instead of the ID3 tags for now.
I do not think it's a problem with my ID3 tags, since I have the same problem on every song whether it was ripped by me from my own CDs, or ripped by someone else.
Hope this helps you diagnose the issue.

Hi all,
thanks for reporting the bug, and yes I can confirm that in single disc albums in ID3 mode, it always starts at track 1, unless of course it's a 1 track album, when it crashes!
This bug is fixed in V9, which is in for review at the moment and hopefully will be released by the weekend (but that's down to Apple).
Cheers
Rich
