I'm pleased to announce that V12 of AVSub is now available in the App Store.

V12 of AVSub brings a significant update to the supported playback formats.

AVSub now supports the following additional formats:

- FLAC
- ALAC
- MP4
- Opus
- Vorbis

All new formats have been fully integrated into AVSub. AVSub is able to stream all new formats over WiFi AND cell/mobile (lossless audio requires a good connection) and now provides true gapless playback (for real this time!). AVSub can also cache all new formats, so you can experience lossless audio anywhere you go. See http://avsubapp.co.uk/faqs.html#LosslessSetup for an ideal AVSub setup.

The following tweaks and bug fixes have also been made:

- Clear Art cache & optimised sizing of album art
- Main menu UI refreshed again
- Arist radio bug fixed

V13 is already done and adds Podcast support, plus improvements to Bookmark functionality. This will be appearing very soon!

Fantastic release. Forgot to submit a bug report for the crashing similar radio, but glad to see it's been resolved in this version. Tested FLAC with no transcoding on both WIFI and cellular and it worked flawlessly.

Do you have plans for browsing by tags (other than artist) in the future? Would love to browse by genres and decades (or years).

You do this NOW? I just switched to Android last week! Now you're making me regret my decision ..

The wife and kids still have iPhone. Time to switch from MP3 to vorbis streaming for everyone! Gapless playback! Awesome!
