Posted: Tue Dec 26, 2017 11:57 pmSo I finally decided that the 2.0 rewrite is taking too long, so as an interim solution to the overscan problem (on older or incorrectly configured TVs, the edges of the screen, including buttons in the app, are cut off, and the latest generation of FireTV/Sticks can't compensate for it anymore, presuming incorrectly that the TV can be adjusted), I've submitted a cosmetic re-theme of the app. Currently submitted to just Amazon, though the online version (and *maybe* the chrome(book) version) may come next week when I'm back home.
No new features, just a retheming using NativeDroid2 (a material design-esque themer for JQueryMobile), but the main thing is I now have a buffer around the left, top, and right edges so if you have an overscan problem, it won't stop you from accessing the controls anymore.
