Acess 2 libraries from from same server?

Postby kermit22 » Tue Jun 01, 2010 2:23 pm

I am wondering if it is possible to set subsonic up to access 2 different audio libraries. I currently have myserver.org/subsonic as my music site, but I also have a large audiobook collection that I would like to be able to access and share and if it is possible I would like a way to separate the two.

Here is my ideal set up.
-have my music collection go to myserver.org/music
-have my audiobook collection go to myserver.com/subsonic

Is something like this possible? If I can do it with permissions that will work to but I didn't see the option to limit a user in that way.

If you would like all your users to have access to both kinds of 'soundfiles', you can set-up two music folders ("Settings" -> "Music Folders") to different directories. Afterwards you will be able to select "All Folders", "Music", "Audiobooks" (or whatever you named them) from a drop-down on the left side of your subsonic.

While this solution might not be 100% (e.g. "search" searches in all folders), it might do the trick for most people :)
