Can't view music already downloaded on Android

I'm currently running ver 1.3.1 on an HTC EVO. After I have already downloaded some tracks, and I make a new queue, I can no longer easily access the previously downloaded music. If i go through the folders(server or offline) I can see that they are already on the SD card. Is there not an easier way to access the music already downloaded to the phone? Also, is there a way to scrub the mp3 files so that they can be seen my other media players? thanks!
