"Random" Features not working

I just set up subsonic for the first time. I got my music loaded (and can see it from my android phone, yay!). However on the home page the "random albums" loads nothing. Also the create random playlist in the "more" screen does not actually put any songs into the playlist. Is there something I have missed when setting up subsonic?

EDIT:
After telling it to update the search index a few times it has all started working! Guess it just needed manual update.

Same here, i have 14000 songs and can see all of them and play all of them, but I am not big into creating playlists... Is there just a way to have it select a random song and play then select a next random and so on until i tell it to skip or stop ?
