i've been trying to get subsonic to work on my android phone for a while now.

here's what i've got...the network setttings tab tells me that it's successfully forwarding to port 80, but the status is "grabowski.subsonic.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException)"

i've tried three different servers on my phone-

http://grabowski.subsonic.org
http://grabowski.gotdns.org
http://myipaddress:80

i've tried appending :80 to each of these with no luck. i've also tried changing the ports, and manually forwarding the ports in my router.

when i'm connected on wifi, i get this error message. "connection failure. only the original thread that created a view hierarchy can touch its views"

when i'm connected on 3g, i get "connection failure .socket is not connected"

subsonic works perfectly when i access it from other computers, but have only tried it within my network. i can access it successfully from http://192.168.1.102/index.view, http://localhost/index.view, and http://192.168.1.102:80

any help would be very much appreciated. i've really enjoyed subsonic so far, and can't wait to get it going on my phone. seems like the perfect thing for long car rides

Add the port 4040, and you'll get on playing.

posting to the forum has a magic way of making things work. i redid everything through port 4040 and everythign worked. thanks!
