Cannot connect via 3G!!!

Postby occultus » Sun Jun 13, 2010 11:15 am

I recently started having this problem where I cannot connect via 3G but can still connect via WiFi inside my house. I have not changed anything and I have paid a donation for the server. the set up page tells me the following...

occultus.subsonic.org is registered but could not connect to it.

how can I fix this????

thanks anyone.

Just for anyone else that stumbles over this thread, we've been talking over email and it seems the URL started working again. Still not sure why it's being flakey, my first guess is that the local IP of the computer is changing sometimes and causing the port forwarding to no longer work until it changes back to what it was before. Just a guess though.

iSub worked fine for a few weeks and now I can't connect, either via iPhone 3GS or via internet from a different computer. I'm at a loss to know what to do.

Too many variables to give you an answer right off the bat, but email me at support@einsteinx2.com and I'll try to walk you through some troubleshooting.

I have a similar problem. When using WiFi I can get to my server no problem, but if I use 3g I get the error, "Socket is not connected".

I can switch back an forth between wifi and 3g and I immediately connect with wifi, and cannot ever get through on 3g.

I am using an HTC Evo 4g with Android 2.2. The computer running the server is a standard windows xp system. I have also made a donation, and am using a named URL.
